Care Matters Homecare is responsible for delivering supportive care to service users residing in Meadowfield House, the local authority care home. The domiciliary care is overseen by Regional Manager Steven Hutchinson and managed day-to-day by Rachael James.
The team works in shifts to support 42 live-in residents, providing a full range of supportive services 24 hours a day. Being at the heart of the community, residents can stay socially connected through trips to the shops and activities arranged in partnership with the local authority.
Meadowfield has 42 two-bedroom apartments, equipped with level access showers and wheelchair accessible. Additionally, four of them have specific disabled adaptations. A housing management service is onsite five days per week to support the service users and the Care Matters Homecare team.
As a midway option between care at home and residential care, Meadowfield House extra-care service offers assisted living with access to 24-hour care and support every day.
