Tees Active – Our Valued Partner

Together, we are on a mission to enhance the health and wellbeing of older individuals residing in Teesside.

Our Team

Care Matters Homecare has established an exciting strategic partnership with Tees Active, a charitable trust that offers a diverse range of leisure facilities across the local area, in collaboration with Stockton on Tees Borough Council.

At Care Matters Homecare, our core services all focus on health, well-being and support. Our partnership with Tees Active not only enhances our local presence but also fosters deeper connections within the community.

Our Guiding Pillars

  • Healthcare: Mental health / Physical wellness / Happiness
  • Well-being: Nutrition / Vitality / Prosperity
  • Support:      Homecare / Rehabilitation / Dedicated Care

These pillars underpin the care and support we provide whether it’s within the comfort of your own home or within a more ‘supported living environment’ such as Meadowfield House in Thornaby.

Community Engagement

We recently had the pleasure of participating in “Residents on Ice” at the Billingham Forum Ice Arena, a heart-warming event orchestrated by the Tees Active and the Tees Valley Community Foundation. This gathering provided elderly community members with the opportunity to step out of their homes, socialise, and enjoy some ice-skating. The event featured an exhibition by two young talented skaters and our team and service users enthusiastically joined in!

This day was a resounding success, marked by a memorable meeting between Antony (Group Marketing Manager) and Frank, a military veteran with a wealth of international experiences. Their engaging conversation centred around Frank’s service in various parts of the world and made the event truly special.

Extending Our Reach

Tees Active operates within our community’s catchment area, making it easier for us to connect with our target audience for our in-home care services. We also want to recruit individuals who are passionate about working in the field of care.

Through ongoing recruitment campaigns, we aim to reach out to those eager to join our fantastic team. New starters from outside the industry can benefit from in house comprehensive training. We also welcome interest from seasoned caregivers, so there’s a clear path for progression for all those who shine!

If this sounds like you, please complete the contact form and we’ll be in touch.
